I have bought my fair share of brushes over the years and get disappointed when I don't get the "help" I expect from the tool to make certain looks happen. I loved the color in this set and the heads were shaped differently from what I had in my collection, so I gave it go. On first contact, the brushes felt so ergonomically sound in my hands; whether I was light or heavy, it worked with my demands. The brush heads itself were so soft (which I used to dislike until now, but I had crappy brushes before), just the perfect firmness, and a shape that actually does the work for you. The angled one is so versatile for fast all-over-shadow work, but I particularly love it when I am applying my MAC paint pot primer. Then it grabs just enough loose powder with a light touch to the product to create a beautiful smoothness that I've been looking to achieve. Yes, it applies concealor like a dream. The blending brush applies my shadows in my crease perfectly, so I can get both color and blend going simutaneously with this one (a plus), and I like to use it alongside MOTD's other blending brush because it is a different size so I can layer easily! The star of this set, in my opinion, is the tapered brush. This totally mimics the sponge shadow applicators in makeup palettes, but only better! For the first time in my life, I was able to achieve dramatic looks like in tutorials we see on social media. I have hooded lids and this brush made shaping (especially with dark shades) a piece of cake; like seriously effortless. It is in my hopes that MOTD at least makes a comeback with these brushes or at least make these a staple in their line because these are phenomenal brushes for all levels of makeup application. If I was financially able to, I'd buy a few more right now. Yes, it is that good. The only con, if I had to think of one, is that the brushes had some jagged or extended hairs sticking out at the sides or on top of the MOTD 1 and 2. I simply took my brow scissors and snipped them back into shape and they were perfect. This is a set I would totally keep at my salon for clients receiving services and be part of my MUA kit. I wish I had known about MOTD brushes years ago. MOTD's vision to make beauty accessible to everyone is exactly what my salon aims to do, so I applaud the great work this company is doing to help us, ladies and gents, at all levels.
