I knew Artin from mutual friends and we would run into one another at events but, eventually lost touch. After several years of not seeing him, the universe put us in the right place at the perfect time.
Yassi, a close friend of mine wanted to do a spontaneous trip to Vegas on father’s day weekend 2013. We traveled out there around 11pm with no plans of where we’ll be staying that night. Yassi knew Artin lived out in LV and gave him call to let him know she was on her way out there with me. Yassi and I arrived in Vegas around 3am and met up with Artin and his friend. Artin and I caught up after not seeing one another for years and immediately hit it off.
That night Yassi and I stayed in one of Art’s guest rooms and in the morning Artin woke up to the smell of french toast, eggs, and I was jumping on his bed eagerly with excitement to wake him up.
After breakfast we all went to a pool party at the Mandalay Bay. Art and I were hanging at the pool when all of a sudden I planted a kiss on him. Since then, we couldn’t keep ourselves away from each other.
We dated long distance for 8 months until I moved out of my parents home in Porter Ranch, CA.
Art and I now both live in Las Vegas, NV with two pups named Laylee and Kyree.
Artin and I took a trip out to Florida late June 2017. We spent several days out in Orlando to enjoy our time at Disneyworld and Animal Kingdom. After having a blast at the Disney parks we traveled out to the Bahamas.
On July 2nd, 2017 our day was spent mostly in the crystal clear waters, paddle boarding and doing other water activities. When it was time to unwind and freshen up for dinner Artin was downstairs cooking up the proposal with the concierge of Baha Mar while I was getting ready in our hotel room.
I wanted to take some sunset photos at the pier on the beach which was the perfect location for Art to propose. He secretly had the hotel staff in on his surprise without giving off clues to me of what was about to happen.
While we were by the beach a security guard who was in on the surprise offered to take photos of us by the shore. As we were guided down near the pier we were greeted by the hotel manager and staff. One of the hotel staff took my phone to take photos of us.
During this time, Artin kissed my cheek told me how much he loved me (which then I started to freaked out) because I figured out what was happening.
When the sun was setting, Artin grabbed my hand, got down on one knee, and spoke beautiful words about us as a couple.
I was frozen. Almost all my sensories besides sight shut down and I didn’t hear a word he said. All I knew was I had one question to answer. My eyes were filled with happy tears.
He asked “Will you marry me?”
Yes, of course. I said…
On July 2nd, 2017.
One of the most recent events on the journey to becoming married was our engagement session shot by Heather from Taylor Made Photo LV. Artin and I had such a wonderful time with her, she truly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and really brought out our true emotions. The location was gorgeous we were surrounded by beautiful scenic mountains and trees. I’m so excited to share some of my favorite shots with you today!
Seven billion smiles and his is my favorite.

It’s true. You’ll fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.

I hope you all enjoyed this post just as much as I wrote it. Wedding planning has been pretty effortless so far. I’ve got all the main things down, our vendors, the venue is gorgeous, my dress even more gorgeous haha, all that we have left so far is just little details. We can’t wait till the wedding!
